Lead Finder

The lead finder is the primary marketer who finds new clients for the business. The responsibility of the lead finder is addressing qualified property owners and getting them interested enough in solar power that they are willing to sit down with for a consultation.

Lead finders can be internal to the company, or external associates. The compensation for both is the same.

Internal lead finders will taken under the wing of a more experienced member of the company and be taught how to do door-to-door marketing.

In this role you will be taught how to address members of the public, how to get them interested, how to not misrepresent the product, how to overcome any objections a person may have to sitting for a consultation, and if all else fails, how to graciously exit a conversation with an unwilling client.

External lead finders should already have their own business established, and generate leads as a consequence of running their own business, or at least having their own marketing pipeline.

Salesman

The salesman is the consultant that actually sits down with the client, explains to the client what our company offers, gauge them for the best solution for their needs, answers any and all questions that the client might have, help the client get over any final objections that the client might have, and preferably get them to sign on the dotted line.

The salesman is expected to be not be awkward around strangers, to abide by company ethics, to not misrepresent our services, and to be an expert in all things solar.

Salesman is the best compensated position within the company, and are very closely monitored for compliance.

All salesmen are expected to start as basic lead finders to learn the business from the ground up. That way, a salesman can be compensated both for finding the deal, as well as closing the deal, which is much more lucrative all around.
